Protect your dog or cat with a microchip
We recommend microchipping for all pets, even those who seldom leave your house. This inexpensive procedure is simple (it involves a quick injection of a chip about the size of a grain of rice) under the loose skin between the shoulder blades) and never needs to be replaced.
Your information is added to a national database which greatly increases the chances of your pet being returned to you if it becomes lost. Chips have a 15-digit number that’s unique to your pet. It may be read with a scanner that veterinarians, pounds and shelters hold.
